Well...to those of you that have been anxiously waiting to hear the saga of our lives...here you go!
We just moved into our new little apartment this week. We are now current residents of Fullerton, California! It is a cute little apartment. I will post some pics once the place is nice and together. It has been really hard leaving our family (Alicia, Jere, and Kylie). It has been so much fun having them around all the time. Now I have to hear my sweet niece's voice on the phone instead of in the next room. I think it is much more adjusting on my part though ;)
I have been super sick! I don't think I have been this sick ever. I have been off work since Thursday and finally plan on going back tomorrow. I am sure my students think I have died or something haha! Thank god for my assistant and other staff at Mardan!
The week before we unfortunately had to rush to Oklahoma to be by my grandmother's bedside. She became ill suddenly and passed away. It was my mother's mom. For those of you that know Crissy...same mom. It was and still is very hard on all of us. We miss her so much and we weren't ready for her to leave us. We really are never ready to let any loved one go...but we know she is in a better place now.
Brent is going back to school this week. He had the last week off for Spring Break. Lucky him got to move during Spring Break. How fun does that sound?
We celebrated a bunch of birthdays. My wonderful mother-in-law's bday was on March 11th, mine was on March 12th, and adorable Kylie's 2nd bday was on March 14th! We had tons of fun celebrating!!!
I just came back from lunch with Laura, Keri, and my sis Jamie. It was great...I haven't seen Keri since I was 19 years old. I had talked with her throughout the years, but we lost touch and then she found me a little over a year ago. She is living in Orange County again and we finally set up a lunch time and all got together. We also got to meet her new boyfriend..hopefully we didn't scare him off or anything. HEHE
Other than that...I am now trying to get stuff together for my classroom and get our apartment organized. Our interent isn't hooked up yet...so I am at my mom's. I need to get off of here and back home. I have an IEP due tomorrow! YIKES!
Sorry I haven't been too good at keeping this updated. I am not even sure if anyone really looks at this too often.
Becca...I will try to do a better job. You are just too darn good at keeping everyone so updated on your daily lives. I love reading all about your adventures. I can't wait to have kids!!!
