Finally a moment to update :)

Well, parenthood has definitely taken over our lives. Sophia is the most amazing thing to ever happen to us. She truly is a gift and we are so very thankful and blessed that she is healthy, beautiful, and such a good baby. We just stare at her, hold her, and at times beg her to go to sleep so we can sleep a little haha. It really is hard to remember what life was like before she was here. Don't get me wrong, we do remember ;) but it just seems like she has been a part of us forever. She is going to be 3 weeks old this Friday...which means I only have 3 more weeks at home with her. Then, it's back to work for me and she goes to her Mimi's and will spend the days with her Mimi and cousins. I'm so happy that she will have that special relationship with her Mimi and cousins, but I'm sad that I won't be with her all the time.

We wanted to thank everyone that came to visit us in the hospital and called/text/emailed to check in on us. Things have been a little crazy. We are so very thankful for all our family and friends. We especially want to thank Sophie's grandma's and Aunties...you have all been so helpful with everything from dinners, advice, and all around love! Brent and I keep telling each other how blessed we have been to have a no complications pregnancy, wonderful delivery...minus my hemorage at the end ;), and a very healthy baby girl.

So far this is what we have done with Lil'Sophie. She has been out and about since her first day at home :) she is such a good traveler ;) She has visited her grandparents and great grandparents, Aunties and cousins...had family and friends over to visit her. She has been to Disneyland 2 times already :) Went to the park and the beach. She also met my students and her Mardan Family :) I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, but needless to say she has been a busy girl :)

Update...

Well, things around here are crazy! We are so in love with our lil'Sophia. I just got on real quick and wanted to say that hopefully tomorrow I will update with new pics. Brent will be home with me so that will make it easier ;)

Hey everyone this is Anie's sister Jamie. As you all know Little Miss Sophia Ann Cooper arrived and needless to say her mommy and daddy are a little busy adapting to their new duties. Still Waiting...

Well, we thought yesterday was the big day...apparently not! We have been calling the hospital to check and see if there is any availability and nothing so far. We were wait listed all day yesterday. They had us call back at 5am this morning and now the next time we call is 9am. They are supposed to release patients and will hopefully be able to get us in today. Needless to say I'm not holding my breath. At this point I will believe it once we are there and I'm hooked up to the meds! Please keep us in your thoughts and pray we get in today :) xoxoxo

Tomorrow is the day!

Well after 41 weeks are being induced tomorrow :) We will finally get to see what our little girl looks like. We will finally get to know that amazing feeling you feel when you become a parent and see your child for the first time. We have waited a very long time to get to this point and are definitely ready for her to join us. We are definitely excited, anxious, nervous, but mostly overwhelmed with what's to come :) I pray that we are the best parents for her and she is healthy and happy! So for the last time...here is our little girls picture before we post her pics on her Birthday :)

Dr. Appointment...

Well, Sophia is officially late. She was due yesterday. The doctor said I haven't had any change really for 3 weeks...she doesn't think Sophie is going to come out on her own. So we now have set a date to be induced! Wednesday, March 11th! We go in at noon...unless there is an opening earlier that morning. Depending on how long it takes to get into active labor (poss 6-12hrs)she will either be sharing her bday with her grandma/Gigi (brent's mom)and her great grandpa (my dad's dad) on the 11th. OR she will be sharing her birthday with her MOMMY on the 12th! What an awesome 30th bday present I get ;)
