Vacation Time :)

Well, this has been my June vacation week. I've been quite busy!!! I'll have to post tons of pics after this weekend.

So this is what I've done so far!!

Friday - Brent and I went to see The Happening...sooo BAD! We hated the movie. I love scary movies and was excited to see it and was very disappointed :(

Saturday - We went to breakfast with my MIL...then Brent and I went car shopping. We weren't 100% sure we were going to get something...and ended up with a BRAND NEW CAR! I traded in my Mitsubishi Outlander for a Mazda 3. We figure with gas prices going up and no sign of them coming down anytime soon...figured we better just get rid of the SUV :( Then we went to a friend's surprise birthday dinner :)

Sunday - I started off my day with my weekly walk with Laura :) We always have such a nice time :) She told me she got her teaching position back for next year WOOHOO!!!Since our father is no longer with us...we didn't really celebrate Father's Day...My mom came over and hungout with me all day and had dinner with us. Brent worked then came home and cooked dinner.

Monday - I started off the day walking :) I went into work to get some stuff done...Megan came into work and helped!! Thanks Megan you're the best :) Then I came home and cleaned with Brent's help...he is the best hubby ever! Then I worked more on my school stuff.

Tuesday - I went to Disneyland with my sis Allie and niece Ky...it was freaking hot there and so we only lasted a few hours. Good thing we have annual passes! Then I came home and picked up Brent and headed to mom's for dinner. We had dinner with mom, my sisters J & Allie, nieces Ky and Nat and Brent and Kevin. We had a nice visit :) and a yummy dinner and dessert!

Wednesday - Today I got up and dropped Brent off at work...then I went to my mom's she had Ky overnight and was taking care of Nat today. So i helped her out all day. We went to breakfast and then the park. Apparently I'm not used to doing so much and needed a nap. Nat got her 2nd tooth in a week :) Her smile is too cute!!! Then I picked up Brent from work and we met up with Allie, Ky, and Brigitte for Jake's Roller Hockey Game. It was a lot of fun!!! Now I am at home chilling with my hubby.

Thursday - I get to do work and chill with Brent...possibly walking with Laura :)

Friday - Not sure what I will do during the day..but when Brent gets off work we are headed to Victoriville to spend the night with Allie :) Then when Jere gets home on Saturday morning...we are all headed to Vegas :)

Saturday - We'll be in Vegas with some of the family! Me, Brent, Allie, J, Jere, Kev, Ky, Nat, Mom, Brigitte, Elliott and my cousin Josh is coming from Missouri :) The girls are going to Tim McGraw concert!!! WOOHOO love our TImmy!!!

My New Favorite Show...

Well, I decided to watch the marathon a couple weeks ago on Lifetime for the show Army Wives...all I can say is I LOVE it! It is now my new obsession ;)

Makes me appreciate the military even more...thanks to all those families that sacrafice for all of us.

My Uncle Lionel is still serving until February 2009. The show makes me miss him even more.

Can't wait for summer!

First, we are doing a family fun weekend in Vegas this coming weekend!!! I love spending time with my family and we can't wait to go..well most of us that is. Brent HATES Vegas...but too bad! ;) We are also going to be seeing Tim McGraw! WOOHOO

Second, Julie is coming to town at the end of this month!! We miss our Julie and can't wait to see her and spend time together!!!

Third, J is having another ultrasound on July 11th...hmmm wonder if we will get to find out if we are getting another niece or a nephew!

Fourth, Allie is having her ultrasound on August 1st...hopefully the baby isn't playing shy like Ky did and we get to find out if we are getting another niece or a nephew!!

Fifth, August 23rd Brent and I are going to New York for a week with his mom! We are going to be doing a ton of stuff! Sooo excited :)

In the middle of all that...hopefully we will become preggers! Then we will have something else to be looking forward to!

Anyways...I need to go take a shower before my momma gets here! Have a great Sunday!

OMG well, Laura and I were doing our usual Sunday walk and she informed me that we have hit our 12 weeks! HOLY COW we are walking in 12 weeks. So to begin my countdown...here is the daily reminder of how long I have to get my butt into shape. Wish us luck! Love you Laura :) We can do it!!

3 Years!!!

June 11th, 2005 was one of the best days of my life! Brent and I were married after dating almost 10 years. We have been very happy and lucky in our lives together. This could possibly be the best year ahead...Brent just graduated college...I have completed my Level 2 Clear for my Special Ed Credential...and we hope to start our family this year!

Brent is the most wonderful husband and has made our lives so amazing. I love him more today than I did 3 years ago...make that almost 13 years ago :)

So...Lovey Happy 3 Year Anniversary! I love you more than words can say! Thanks for making everyday an amazing one :) Love you always, forever, and a day!

Dear Friends and Family,

Did you know that every three minutes, another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer and an estimated 3 million women are living with the disease? You and I can help fight this horrible disease.

I have made the important decision to participate in the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer in Los Angeles. In September, I will attempt to walk the distance of a marathon and a half (39.3 miles) over 2 days. I will be walking in honor of my Grammy, Marlene, who is a Breast Cancer Survivor. I am also walking in honor of my friend Laura's big sister, Christie, who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.

I'll have to spend the next few months training, fundraising, and preparing for the event. It's the biggest challenge I've ever taken on, but I'm very excited about doing it because I know it will make a real difference to the millions of people affected by breast cancer.

I'm required to raise at least $1,800 to participate. Please help to support me and the breast cancer cause by making a contribution to my efforts. Any amount really does help! The money raised goes to the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade, a public charity whose mission is to provide access to care and to work toward finding a cure.
