Summer 2009!

Brent and I have decided that we are going to try and have a baby by Summer 2009!! I am soooo excited. We were watching TV last night and playing online with baby names :) Here is a link to some of our favs so far...we obviously have time to pick a name especially since we aren't even trying to get preggers yet. My Uncle...

My Uncle Lionel is in the military. He is leaving for Iraq and is no longer able to be reached via email until they arrive somewhere with email. I am so sad! He is going to be gone for 15-18 months...well that was the last we had heard :( It sucks knowing he won't be around when J has Natalie. We will be sending lots of care packages to him I'm sure.

Uncle Lionel, when you get a chance to read this...THANK YOU for being willing to fight for our freedom! We are very proud of you and miss you terribly! Be safe and come home soon!! We love so very much!

What I was doing 10 Years ago....

I was in school at Golden West College. Brent and I had been dating 2 years at the time. I was still working at Robinson's May, and getting ready to start working at The Orange County Register.

What I was doing 5 years ago.....

I was still in school getting ready to graduate from Cal State Fullerton. I was working at Mardan. Brent and I had been dating for 7 years and were getting ready to move into an apartment with Scottie.



What I was doing 1 year ago.......

Brent and I were living with Allie, Jere, and Ky. I was just starting my 2nd year teaching. We were getting ready for J's wedding. Life was crazy as usual!

What I was doing yesterday.....

I woke up at 4:45am met Amy at the gym. Went to work and taught all day. Finished my homework and went to tutor Cole. Came home, made dinner, and spent time with Brent when he got out of school. Pretty much a typical day :)

Birthday Dinner Pics!

Brent just had his birthday on the 20th and Kevin's is on the 26th. We went to dinner at House of Brews there are a few pics enjoy! We had a lot of fun!!!

J & Nat's Baby Shower :)

Today we threw my lil' sister's baby shower :) J is due November 26th and we are all so very excited for the arrival of Natalie Paige! Her shower was wonderful. The shower was thrown by Natalie's Aunties (me, Allie, and Jess). We had a great turn out and it was all worth it. :) Enjoy the pics below from the fun day!

Now that I just did the special post about Brent's birthday...I am sooo excited about this weekend! Saturday is J's baby shower. That means our lil' niece is going to be here soon...I can't wait to hold her and spoil her!!! J is so excited to see everyone that is coming to the shower and see what Natalie is getting from everyone! I will have pics up soon...you know me!!

Saturday night is dinner for Brent, Kevin & Mike's birthday!!! How much more can we cram into a weekend!?!?

Sunday is the Breast Cancer Walk!! J, Allie, Jen, Brigitte, Kevin, and I are all walking on Sunday! It is going to be awesome...doing this walk is such an amazing feeling! Seeing everyone doing something for a good cause is very moving! I am walking in honor of my Grammy that fought and won the battle against breast cancer...and Allie & Jen's Aunt Chris that has been battling breast cancer for over a year now and is Kicking butt! I am also walking for all women! We need to find a cure!!!

Krissy & Matthew are flying into town for J's shower too...we are sooo excited to visit with them! I love having my family around and this is a weekend of family!!! Love you all!!!

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!!!!

Well, today is my wonderful hubbie's birthday! He is 29 today...it is hard to believe that we started dating not very long after he turned 17! Wow that makes me feel even older!!! I just wanted to share with all of you how amazing my hubby is and let you all know it is his birthday!

This is his last year of school!!! He has worked so hard to complete Architecture school and has had to make so many sacrifices to do so. I am so proud of how hard he works and what a wonderful person he is. He makes me feel loved, adored, and like I could do no wrong in his eyes...although I am sure I can! HEHE

Well, I hope he is having a great evening in school. I want him to come home now! Anyways...just wanted to share...

Jake's Birthday Bash :)

Well, this past Saturday we celebrated Jake's birthday a couple weeks early :) We spent the day at the beach. It was nice and relaxing...actually we got a little COLD! I almost forgot what it was like to be cold :) Well, here are some of the pics taken at his party. Enjoy!

Frustrated!!!

I need to vent...I am exhausted and have been trying to do my homework for hours now! I don't understand some assignments we are given in school. Sometimes I feel like it is a bunch of busy work. I am taking classes to clear my credential...you'd think it would be a little easier since we are all teachers currently that are taking these classes since it is a requirement!

Sorry I had to vent!!

Now I am going to spend time with my amazing hubby that just got home and finished making the dinner I started! I LOVE HIM!

Final Week of Summer Break :(

Well, it is official....my last week of Summer Break is OVER! I have been busy and took even more pics...what a shocker!!!

Sunday Brent and I went to the Angel's Game and they won. We took one pic at the game and it was of us so enjoy ;) There are also pics from my afternoon & evening at Allie's house. Jen, Toria & I went up there and spent some time together so the girls could play. While we were up there, Allie received the call she has been waiting for ALL summer. She is officially a teacher in Victorville! So there are pics from that wonderful moment ;) Then, last night J, Jess and I went to dinner. I took some pics of me, J, and J & Nat...so enjoy...J is soooo adorable. Nat is going to be here in November!!!! Finally, today mom and I went up and met Allie, Jere, and Ky at Victoria Gardens. We went shopping and had lunch. It was SUPER HOT! I of course got some more pics! Allie and I have both chopped off our hair...and Ky's hair was straightened for the first time. She looked so much older :( but soooo beautiful. She looks like her momma ;) Well, that has been the story so far this weekend. Hope everyone is having a great one! Enjoy the slideshow!
