MAUI!!!!

Well, it is official! We are going to Maui in August! My MIL bought our tickets today!!! WOOHOO!! We are going August 4th-9th! I am soooo excited! To my wonderful MIL LOVE YOU!!!

Shane Bernier is a courageous seven-year-old boy from Lancaster, Ontario who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was only five. On June 6, 2006 Shane and his family received some unfortunate news: Shane experienced a relapse after completing 108 of 130 weeks of treatment. his birthday is on May 30th and all he wants is to received a birthday card from you. He doesn't want money or toys...just cards! Homemade cards even! He would like to break the world record for the most birthday cards ever received. His goal is 350 million cards. So please take out the time to send him a card.

What a weekend!

Well, Friday was a very exciting day! Jamie and Kevin had their first Doctor appointment and were able to hear the baby's heartbeat!!! We were hoping they would get an ultrasound so we could see the baby, but knowing the baby is healthy and J and Kev got to hear their little additions heartbeat was amazing! So,we will be patiently waiting to see our little sweet pea when they get the ultrasound done!

To celebrate Friday...the girls had a night out! Jamie, Alicia, Kylie, mom, Jen, Toria, Brigitte and I all went out to Cheesecake Factory in HB. Those pics were added to the slideshow below with the pics from my dinner earlier in the week with Julie, Becca, and Laura!

Saturday, Brent worked and I cleaned the apartment. Then we went to Alicia, Jere, and Ky's house in Victorville. We spent the night, it was like old times :) We had a lot of fun and Alicia made her famous Dutch food. Brent made a special request ;) We have missed living with them. So, thanks for having us you guys!!

Sunday, Brent worked yet again and I did the laundry. How much fun does that sound? I should be doing work for my students, but I have yet to begin. I will be doing that soon! So, today is pretty much a layed back Sunday.

Jamie and Kevin finally announced the pregancy on her myspace page so it is no longer a secret!!! We are very excited to be an Auntie and Uncle again! It is sooo much fun!

Tuesday Night Girls Dinner @ Cheesecake Factory! Yummy!

Well, it was that time again...Julie came to town! It is our tradition to get together when Julie comes to town. Not many can say that they still keep in touch with friends from middle school. I definitely look forward to these dinners. It is such a fun time to catch up with each other in person...not just email, blog, and myspace ;)

This time we got to meet Noah, Julie's newest addition to her family. He is such a good baby and so sweet! There are just a few pics! Hope you enjoy them :)

Saturday was so fun!

This Saturday we went to Alicia, Jere, and Ky's house for the afternoon. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we needed to get back to have dinner with Brent. We went to lunch, shopping, and then back to the house to try and get curtains done...sorry J we didn't get too far on that one! Their house looks more and more beautiful every time we go up there. I am doing good on that...I think I am up there every other week at least! Pretty soon they will tell me to stop coming up so often ;) We just had a really good time and I thought I would put some pics up to share our afternoon with you all!

Brent had to work all weekend as usual, but didn't have homework for once! It was great we got to go out to dinner! We went to Houston's in Irvine. YUMMY! Then we went to Barnes N Noble and Target. It was quite an eventful night for us...cosidering we never get to go anywhere when he is in school.

We also started to plan our trip to Maui in August with Brent's mom, my wonderful Mother in law! I have the best MIL in the world! :) We are very excited to go and can't wait!! J, Allie, Kev, Jere, Ky...wanna join us???? It would be a blast!!! :)

Well, since it is Sunday afternoon and I have been very busy all weekend I have a ton to do. Hope you all enjoy the pics!

Nicole's 25th Birthday!

We Are Finally Finished Moving In!!!!!

So...we have officially finished packing and hanging things up! Well, all except our mirror in the dining room. That will be done this week. I am so glad it is all finished. I have so many things I need to do during Spring Break! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Easter Pictures!

Well Easter came and went quickly as usual!

Saturday we spent an early Easter celebration with Alicia, Jere and Kylie at their new house in Victorville. Jamie, Kevin, Alicia's mom (Ky's Oma) and her dad (Ky's Grandpa) were there too. Mom (Ky's Grammie) was at a wedding with a friend and wasn't able to make the drive up :(, Brent was working :(, and Deb (Ky's Gigi)was flying home from New York :(. Otherwise most of us were there ;)

Sunday we went to brunch with Mom, Jamie, and Kevin. We went to El Torito Grill...yummy! Brent and I went home and hung everything on the walls :) in our new apartment. Then we went to Gram and Pop's house for Easter dinner. It was a wonderful day...we missed Deb :( She wasn't able to make it home from Tennessee.

That was pretty much our Easter weekend. Hope everyone had a great Easter!

It is now April 3rd! Where have the past few months gone? This year is already flying and I am not sure where it has gone. I am on Spring Break next week!!!

I am putting a slideshow on here from March. We took a lot of pics...some are from Allie & Jere's new home, Kylie's 2nd Birthday Party, our celebration for my birthday and Deb's (my mom-in-law). There are also a few pics from my classroom...it was when one of my students became angry when he couldn't find a pencil...enjoy!!!
