One Week Closer to June Break!

Well, it is almost the end of the regular school year!! That means I only have 3 more weeks of teaching, then I get a week off!!! After the week off I go back and teach summer session for 5 1/2 weeks. I can't wait until August...I need a month off work!

Anyways...this week was still a little chaotic at work. I have a few very mentally ill students. I have one student that is having to stay home for now. He had a major meltdown earlier in the week and his parents are now having to consider a different situation. I can't imagine being the parent of my children. I seriously feel for my parents...even though at times I can become very frustrated. Another one of my students attacked me again this week! The third one that is having trouble had a med change and will now be having his meds changed back to what was working. So, hopefully next week things will be a little calmer. We are also getting ready for the annual talent show. We are going to have to start practicing with my students. The show is always cute, but can be quite stressful putting it together. So wish me luck!

This past Sunday, our cousin Shawn, his wife Megan, and their little boy Jase came to visit from Missouri. It was so much fun to have them over and visit with them. We miss our family back in Missouri and this was the first time we really had the chance to get to know Megan and Jase. They are such a wonderful addition to our family! We had 12 people in our little 700 sq ft apartment! Figure that one out ;)It was a lot of fun though :)

Tonight I hung out with my mom, sisters, and niece. We went to the mall, had dinner, and just hung out. It was a lot of fun. Spending time with them is some of my happiest times. Jamie's starting to show and it is too cute. She isn't very happy about having to buy bigger clothes, but when others will be able to tell she is pregnant and she doesn't just feel like she is gaining weight she will be more comfortable with it. Next Sunday (June 3rd) is the big day! We are ALL going to their ultrasound to hopefully find out what the baby is!!! She sent us a recording of the babie's heartbeat on our cells and it was amazing! I started to cry when I heard it. I can only imagine what that room will be like when we see the baby on that screen. :) When Alicia was pregnant and I got to go to her ultrasound and we all found out that it was a girl that was one of the most memorable moments in my life. It was such an amazing experience...and I cried during that too :)

Tomorrow (Saturday) Brent and I are going to our friend's wedding. We are spending the night in a hotel and having a little mini get away. Sunday we will be able to spend some quality time together! He has to do some school stuff Sunday afternoon. Then Monday we are both off too. I am looking forward to spending the weekend with my hubby. I just love him so much! Hard to believe we have been together almost 12 years and married for only 2 (almost)!

Wednesday our cousin Josh is coming to town!!! He is going to be here for a week. We haven't had him out here since Brent and I got married. It is going to be awesome having him out here. We are always trying to get him to move out here. Maybe one day we will succeed haha!
